Assistant Professor of the Department of Social Psychology, Social Work, Social Anthropology and East Asian Studies at the University of Malaga. He holds a PhD in Psychology (06/11) and his research topics focus on Occupational Psychology applied to health services and Occupational Health and Safety (Diploma of Advanced Studies in Social Psychology, 12/04; Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention, 02/09). He is an Advanced Technician in Occupational Health and Safety: Speciality in Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology (2006).

He has previously worked as a teacher and researcher at the University of Huelva (Department of Psychology, 2005-2015) and at the University of Algarve (Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences, 2009-2016), also performing consultancy and training roles for various public and private institutions in the field of health and safety.

His research results have been published in high impact journals such as International Journal of Nursing Studies, International Nursing Review, International Journal of Psychology, Journal of Nursing Management or Scandinavian Journal of Psychology. He has also served as reviewer for the following journals Management Decision, Western Journal of Nursing Research or BMJ Open.
