Associate Professor at the Department of Social Psychology, University of Seville in. Doctor in Psychology (2000) and Master in Drug Dependence (1997). He also holds the Diploma of Advanced Technician in Occupational Health and Safety: Specialities in Industrial Hygiene (2005); Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology (2006). 

He has collaborated in several R&D projects as researcher, mainly in the fields of Social Psychology of Health, Social Skills Training and Occupational Health Psychology. Most of such projects have been funded by public institutions in competitive calls, both at national and regional level.

Regarding the quality and dissemination of the results of his research activity, he has co-authorized 13 articles in research journals, 11 books, and 31 book chapters published by top level publishers (Pirámide, McGraw-Hill)

Currently, he is the co-director of the Master in Psychology of Social and Community Intervention at the University of Seville.
