Doctor in Psychology (1997). He also holds a master’s degree in Drug Dependence from the University of Seville (1995-97). He stands out for his versatility within the area of Social Psychology, in which he teaches subjects related to both basic concepts and introductory Social Psychology, and applied research on addictions, conflict management, and social skills. Indeed, he knows how to brilliantly convey the contents of Social Psychology to all kinds of audiences, as is shown in his collaborations in the scientific direction of programmes in the Spanish broadcasting corporation (RTVE), in popular magazines, or in numerous regional and national interviews in several social media channels.
Also, for more than 20 years he has been a collaborating professor at the Andalusian School of Public Security, official body for security forces in Andalusia, where he has providing training courses (particularly to local police officers) focuses on aspects related to group efficacy.
His main line of research focuses on the development of communication skills, group management and work with young people. Currently, together with Professor Bueno-Moreno, he is preparing a Master's Degree at the University of Seville on Work with Young People and Technician of Youth, which has already been pre-approved. His research results have been published in books published by top level publishers (Pirámide, McGraw-Hill) and in high impact journals.
In addition, he is a member of the Andalusian Sports Psychology Association (APDA) and is accredited as a Sports Coach by the federation in which he is involved.
