Coordinator of the Cármides group, he is Associate professor in the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Seville. He holds a PhD in Psychology (05/11) and his areas of specialisation are Occupational Health and Safety (Advanced Technician in Occupational Health and Safety: Specialities in Industrial Hygiene, 10/2005; Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology, 06/2006; Occupational Safety, 10/2006), and Work and Organisational Psychology (Diploma of Advanced Studies, 01/2008; Official Master in Human Resources, 07/2008).

He previously worked as a researcher at the Business Research Unit of the ISCTE-Business School (ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, 01/2012-09/2015). During this period, he also held teaching positions in the Department of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources.

His research results have been published in high impact journals such as Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Journal of Business and Psychology, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Occupational Medicine or International Journal of Stress Management. He is currently an Associate Editor of the Spanish Journal of Psychology and the International Journal of Social Psychology/Revista de Psicología Social.
